Microsoft εννέα ενημερώσεις ασφαλείας για 37 ευπάθειες

Η Microsoft έδωσε στη δημοσιότητα την επισκόπηση του Security Bulletin για το μήνα Αύγουστο 2014, προσφέροντας πληροφορίες σχετικές με όλα τα patches ασφαλείας και μη που έρχονται με τις τελευταίες ενημερώσεις.

Συνολικά κυκλοφόρησε εννέα ενημερώσεις αυτό το μήνα, οι οποίες έρχονται να διορθώσουν θέματα ασφαλείας στα Windows, τον Internet Explorer, Windows Server λογισμικό, .ΝΕΤ και το Office.

Δύο ενημερώσεις από αυτές χαρακτηρίζονται σαν «κρίσιμες» από την εταιρεία ενώ οι υπόλοιπες επτά χαρακτηρίζονται «σημαντικές».

Εκτός από αυτές τις ταχτικές ενημερώσεις για τον Αύγουστο, υπάρχει και μια μικρότερη ενημερωμένη έκδοση για το λειτουργικό σύστημα των Windows 8.1 που προσθέτει τρία νέα χαρακτηριστικά και βελτιώσεις. Το πιθανό όμως είναι ότι οι χρήστες ούτε που θα το προσέξουν.
Συνολικά κυκλοφόρησαν εννέα ενημερώσεις ασφαλείας που αντιμετωπίζουν 37 ευπάθειες.
Διανομή ανά Λειτουργικό Σύστημα

Οι ευπάθειες μπορεί να επηρεάζουν λειτουργικά συστήματα με διαφορετικό τρόπο ή και καθόλου. Η διανομή αυτού του μήνα το δείχνει αυτό ξεκάθαρα, αφού τα Vista και τα RT θα λάβουν από μια κρίσιμη και τρεις σημαντικές ενημερώσεις, ενώ όλα τα υπόλοιπα συστήματα θα λάβουν από δύο κρίσιμες και τέσσερις σημαντικές ενημερώσεις.

Τα συστήματα που επηρεάζονται λιγότερο είναι τα Windows Server 2003 και 2008.
